Cubs

Cubs are young people aged 8-10½ years old. We have two Cub Packs. One meets on a Tuesday night (Grenfell Pack) from 6.30pm until 7.45pm, the other meets on a Friday night (Hamilton Pack) from 6.30pm to 7.45pm at our Scout Headquarters.

For Cubs, excitement, challenge and adventure are key. Meetings are held weekly and we also offer many activities organised at weekends and in the holidays.

During their time in the Pack the Cubs will get a chance to try a wide range of different activities as well as going on trips, days out, and on camps. They will get the chance to attend a camp at least once a year.

Cub Scout Promise
I promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to God
And to the King
To help other people
And to keep the Cub Scout Law

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
