Volunteers

The Scout Association is run by volunteers and it encourages parents and guardians to assist the leadership team.

1st Ness Scout Group is run entirely by people who give up their own time to help the Scout Group.

If you’re somebody who would love to help your community, get outdoors, learn new skills and have fun doing it, we’d love your help at 1st Ness. Volunteering with us is easy, fun and flexible – how much time you give is completely up to you. Whether you help once a fortnight, month or term or just at special events or camps, there is bound to be a role you can play, and no matter how you get involved, we’ll make sure you’re properly trained and supported.

Why not become a Trustee and help decide the future of the Group.  We met once a term to look at ways we can help the sections and their volunteer leaders offer ‘Skills for Life’.
